Our Events
Annual Labor Day Turkey
Dinner
When you ask people throughout Susquehanna county if they
have heard about St. Martin, there is a good chance
that they will tell you that they have attended one of our annual Labor Day
Turkey Dinners. Held in our parish hall and on the church grounds, this
annual event is open to the entire community and typically draws
approximately 1,000 men, woman and children of all faiths.
For more information contact the rectory any time
in August.
Annual Mardi Gras Celebration
The Mardi Gras celebration is held annually in the
church hall and is open to all of our adults and their guests. The
celebration takes place on the Saturday prior to Ash Wednesday.
For more information call the rectory 2-4 weeks
prior to Ash Wednesday.
Annual Summer Picnic
Providing an opportunity for our parishioners to
get together for fun and fellowship, this annual event takes place on the
church grounds. Bring your super soaker, volleyballs and be ready to have a
great time.
For more information call the rectory in early
July.
Annual Pierogie Sale
For as long as anyone can remember, the women of
St. Martin of Tours Church and St Pauls Church have gotten together each spring
to make pierogies. With the addition of the dough machine in 2000 even more pierogies
are able to be made on the Saturday the women get together.
If you would like to help make the pierogies,
contribute to the cost of supplies or
place an order for a few dozen pierogies, call the rectory for details in Februrary.
