St. Martin Restoring Sight to the Blind Woman

St. Martin Restoring Sight to the Blind Woman... Click image for greater resolution "A woman in the region of Tours, named Bella, had lost her sight and suffered much from her eyes. And she thought if only I could be conducted to the Bascilica of Seigneur Martin, I would recover my health for I am full of confidence that he who who by a kiss healed a poor man of leperosy would return the light to my eyes. Then she went to the holy place with the help of a guide and there persisting in fasts and in ferquent prayers she merited the recovery of the sight which she had lost. And she was so well cured that having arrived blind and conducted by others, she was able and happy to return to serve generously as a guide to the blind."

The artist who created this artwork for St. Martin's signed it BAMorano.
